LEONARD E. SEIDMAN, B.A., B.C.L.
Leonard specializes in civil and commercial law in the hospitality industry including related intellectual property matters, and in real estate law in development and management matters.
In his career in commercial litigation, he has pleaded before all the courts in Quebec, the Federal Court of Canada, and on three successful occasions before the Supreme Court of Canada in landmark cases dealing with good faith in contractual relations, constructive dismissal, and domestic jurisdiction in claims by a public international civil servant for work-related injuries. His services as a mediator have included commercial landlord-tenant disputes, insurance disputes over direct damage claims and third-party liability claims, disputes between co-owners of condominiums and with their syndicates and in professional fee disputes.
